Six Steps Before Any Container Is Sealed

01 — Field Sorting

Produce is sorted at source — damaged, undersized, or off-grade units are removed before the consignment enters the pack house.

02 — Grading by Variety & Size

Each lot is graded by variety, diameter, and weight class. Export grades are held to tighter tolerances than domestic market standards.

03 — Curing & Drying

Onions, garlic, and ginger undergo controlled curing cycles to reduce surface moisture and extend shelf life in transit.

04 — Pre-Cooling

Temperature-sensitive produce — pomegranates, grapes, okra, brinjal — enters cold storage within hours of packing to lock in cold chain integrity.

05 — Net Weight Verification

Every carton, mesh bag, and jumbo bag is weighed at the packing station. Gross and net weights are recorded per pallet before loading.

06 — Pre-Shipment Inspection & Phytosanitary

Each consignment undergoes pre-shipment inspection. Phytosanitary certificates are issued per shipment by NPPO-authorised inspectors before container sealing.
